The ABT-E is the king of features, a close relative of the ABT-F model, it sports all the similar design features but uses a different ramp holding mechanism where the ramps use a kick out lever to be held in place in conjunction with a sliding winch mount. The ABT-E also utilizes a more robust design and is therefore popular among our customers for recovery purposes.

THE VARIANTS

The ABT-E comes in multiple variants based on vehicle weight category, the design stays relatively the same but there may be additional features that are legal requirements such as crash barriers.

ABT-35E For vehicles with a GVW of 3.5T

ABT-50E For vehicles with a GVW of 5T

ABT-70E For vehicles with a GVW of 7T

FEATURES AND OPTIONS

winch

The ABT-E winch is mounted on a sliding platform for better positioning while winching. Our choice of winch is the Warrior brand. A well established brand loved by many. Warrior has full support within the UK with an online parts store for your ease of repair.

STRAPPING

Lashing points are distributed on both sides of the vehicle at optimum places. The ABT-E features as standard three rows of reinforced over wheel strapping points. This method of strapping helps prevent scratches to the rim of cars via wheel chokers.

RAMP SYSTEM

On the ABT-E the ramps are held in place via a kickout lever. The ramps are also held in place and secured via a welded block to prevent thieves from ruining your day. The ramps can be adjusted by sliding them across the ramp guides.

AIR ASSIST

As standard on the ABT-E we fit an air assist suspension system, this helps provide a more comfortable ride and ride height. Our systems are manually operated via a pressure gauge located near the driver seat. Factory chassis air when available is standard.

RAMPs

The ramps are our latest design which feature built in extensions. A ribbed surface and grip sticker on the extension portion provides great grip. A hand strap placed at the end of the ramp helps with removal of the ramps.

Spare wheel mounts can be fitted to the side for easy access. We also have a wide range of other products and accessories such as cones, spill kits, fire extinguishers etc.

ams flyer

Our signature AMS flyer provides a stylish look and acts as a barrier for the cab. It also provides the capability of fitting LED lighting without the need of creating holes in the cab. On the ABT-E we can fit a towbar and plug for trailer transport.

STORAGE

We have a multitude of options for storage boxes when it comes to size and material type to store all your tools for the job away from the elements. LED lighting can be fitted for better visibility at night.
